LIVERMORE – Norlands Living History Center will host its monthly “theme dinner” Saturday, Sept. 25. Saturday’s theme will be a musical dinner.
The evening begins with a talk and demonstration of music popular in the 1870s by Nancy Drinkwine at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by the barn dance at 7 p.m. The menu for the meal includes foods that may remind people of music, including: bugles and triangles with salsa, corn bread, fiddleheads, string beans, drum sticks, and a fruit medley salad for dessert.
Reservations for the dinner are requested and will be accepted until noon on Saturday. Cost for the entire evening is $25, or $5 for the barn dance only.
