FARMINGTON – The Franklin Memorial Hospital Breast Cancer Support group will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct. 5, in the Allen Room at the hospital. The support group is for women with breast cancer and breast cancer survivors.

The discussion topic will be “Look Good … Feel Better” led by Ev Norton, who teaches cosmetic techniques and provides information on how to overcome the appearance-related side-effects of cancer treatment.

“Look Good … Feel Better” is a national public service program based on the concept that improved self-esteem will help women approach their disease and treatment with greater confidence.

Registration for this session is preferred. To reserve a space, women may call Rita Porter at 779-2430 or (800) 398-6031, extension 2430.

The group is a free service of the hospital’s Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center. Each meeting features presentations of special interest, as well as a time of sharing personal experiences and concerns.
