LIVERMORE FALLS – An East Livermore man faces several charges after he allegedly threw jelly jars and broke three windows at his mother’s home. He also allegedly damaged a door on the police cruiser as he attempted to kick out a window, police said.
Police received two 911 hang-up calls from the residence on Sept. 21, and a dispatcher could hear yelling in the background on the second call, said Livermore Falls Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr.
In a third call from the residence, the dispatcher was told that someone was throwing something, Steward said.
Police responded and found that Michael Beall, 19, had been asked to leave the home but wouldn’t leave, the chief said.
He threw the jars and broke three windows, Steward said.
The chief said that because Beall was being uncooperative, police physically restrained him to protect Beall and the officers. Police used pepper spray on him to calm him down, Steward said.
Beall kicked the rear passenger door of the cruiser and bent the top part of the door frame, he said.
Beall was charged on Sept. 21 with disorderly conduct, two counts of criminal mischief and failure to submit to arrest.
