JAY – Police were called to a Main Street residence Saturday after the property owner allegedly found a marijuana plant in a former tenant’s apartment.

Officer Dean Couture said he met with the landlady and ended up confiscating a marijuana plant and a pipe from the residence.

The incident remains under investigation.
