FRANKLIN, N.H. (AP) – Three people have died in a house fire in Franklin.

Authorities say the fire broke out early this morning in a 21/2-story carriage house and was well involved by the time firefighters arrived just after 5 a.m. The names of the victims are being withheld pending positive identification and notification of relatives.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
