DURHAM, N.H. (AP) – The committee looking for a new president for the University of New Hampshire has narrowed its field to 10 candidates.

Chairman Ed Dupont said 60 people contacted the search committee about the job. The group is beginning to schedule interviews.

He says he expects the committee to select two or three finalists after the initial interviews, then bring those candidates to UNH for more interviews.

They hope to recommend a replacement for Ann Weaver Hart before Christmas.
