AUBURN — Sandra King Bolduc, 77, passed away peacefully at home July 26, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was the daughter of James F. King and Eileen N. King (Poloski), being the youngest of six siblings. Born Jan. 1, 1941, in Portland, Maine, she attended Portland schools and graduated from Edward Little High School.

She married Maurice Bolduc on Jan. 25, 1958.

Sandra was an avid reader, cross-stitcher and knitter. She enjoyed traveling.

She was always up for an adventure, be it traveling to Florida to see her eldest daughter or a journey along the Maine coast. Her love for the Maine coastline stemmed from her early years spent growing up on Munjoy Hill and the Eastern Promenade. Even in her later life, she always enjoyed a picnic lunch with Amato’s sandwiches overlooking Casco Bay. Sandy would often recount pleasant memories of road trips taken with her husband to California to visit family.

Sandy was a kind, loving woman who always put the needs of others before her own. Time spent with her grandchildren never failed to bring a smile to her face.
