LEWISTON — Finance Committee, 5:30 p.m. in the administrator’s conference room at City Hall. 

TUESDAY, Aug. 7
 
LEWISTON — Summer fun and films, “Jumanji” at Lewiston Middle School field. Free. Activities begin at 6 p.m., movie begins at dusk, sponsored by Lewiston Police Department and The Dolard & Priscilla Gendron Franco Center. 
 
AUBURN — National Night Out, community block party presented by Auburn Police Department, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Main Street and Festival Plaza. Family-friendly fun: face painting, games, balloons, bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, police and fire apparatus, hot dogs and popcorn, live music by the L-A Harley Band.
 
AUBURN — Public meeting to discuss Hotel Road reconstruction, 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Auburn Hall. Reconstruction from Lewiston Junction Road to East Hardscrabble Road includes new pavement, graves, drainage and curbing.
 
AUBURN — Age-friendly Committee, 6:30 p.m. at the Senior Community Center in Pettengill Park. 
 
WEDNESDAY, Aug. 8

AUBURN — Free family concert with Maine musician Rob Duquette, 11 a.m. to noon, Auburn Public Library. All ages are welcome.

AUBURN — Lewiston-Auburn Transit Committee, 12:30 p.m. at the Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments, 125 Manley Road. 

AUBURN — Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Auburn Hall. 

This week’s summer fun movie, “Jumanji,” will be shown Tuesday night at the Lewiston Middle School field. The event is free. Fun activities begin at 6 p.m., the movie will be shown at dusk.
