The boys’ basketball team at Wales Central School had a record of 3-9 this season. Our coach this year was Mike Jillson. He really put in a lot of time and effort towards the team. The Eagles’ captains this season were A.J. Bouffard and Jared Parkin. Reece Johnson, a guard for Wales, thought Mechanic Falls was the closest played game of the season. He also said we had a great game because we lost by only five points. Our most exciting game from the season was against Holy Cross. The final score of the game was 31-27. By the end of the game Wales had pulled out their third victory.
The victories Wales had this season were against Durham, Minot and Holy Cross. Our best played loss was against St. Johns. Our worst played loss was against Monmouth. The team included Jared Parkin, A.J. Bouffard, Reece Johnson, Tony Vatasso, Kowan McFalls, Travis Dyer, Chris Robichaud, Anthony Siderio and Josh Gammon.
