Did you ever have a favorite place?

Where you could hide from mom’s

angry face?

Somewhere to run

When life was no fun?

I had a place

To hide from mom’s face,

It was my own.

It was big and metal

With two swings and a slide,

that is where I would hide.

Everyone could see it, but no one

would have known

That is was my own . . .

Favorite place.
