The rally held recently for the beginning of the school year started out as the talk of the school. Usually the seniors have their walk-in to the gym with silly string and water guns, but not this year. There was talk about seniors not having a walk-in, which made some of the seniors not want to show up, but with much negotiating they were able to have their walk-in on one condition – no silly string.

Besides the no silly string act, the rally was the same over the years. As the mob of seniors dressed in homemade black T-shirts covered in glitter and paint and painted faces filled the gym, the crowd grew restless to see what the seniors had planned for them.

After the seniors took their seats the rally began. Everyone who spoke into the microphone was loud and, importantly, the seniors were loud. The class pride, painted faces, crazy stunts performed by the gymnastics team and the introduction of the hosts were on full display. The races held during the rally showed that the senior class is still and will always be the strongest class. Shortly after that the cheerleaders entertained the crowd.

The rally ended in a roar of laughter, as the senior class scattered out of the gym on their way home.
