BELCHERTOWN, Mass. — Normand “Norm” Joseph Dube, 76, died on Sept. 20, at Baystate Medical Center. Born April 9, 1942, in Lewsiston, he was the son of Thomas and Laura (Lajoie) Dube.
Living in Belchertown since 2006, Norm lived in West Springfield for a number of years. Norm worked as a production planner at United Technologies for over 30 years. In his youth, Norm played hockey and tennis. He also took much enjoyment in going to casino and traveling with his wife, Sandra. He was a communicant of St. Francis Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus, third degree, Council 4044 in Chicopee.
Norm will be missed by his daughter, Sandra A. Stuard of Scituate, R.I.; as well as a sister, Lorraine Gilbert of Lewiston. Norm was preceded in death by his son, Michael N. Dube.
The Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Church in Belchertown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
