AUBURN — Constance J. (Bennett) Moad, 84, of Lisbon died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Clover Manor Health Care facility.
She was born in Sanford on Dec. 22, 1933, and was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Edna Bennett; her late husband of 49 years, Wilbert E. Moad; son, Stephen J. Moad; brothers, Everett Bennett, Donald Bennett, Lloyd Bennett; and sisters, Barbara Bennett Belanger and Joan Bennett Heckenliable.
Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked at Pioneer Plastics in Auburn for 39½ years. She loved to do crafts, crochet and needle punch, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her brother, Ray Bennett, and his wife, Nancy; her three children, Deborah Moad Schaeffer and husband, George, of Clermont, Fla., Mark E. Moad and wife, Barbara, of Poland and Donna Rimiller and Occh of Lisbon; a daughter-in-law, Tracey Peck Moad; nine grandchildren, Thomas Schaeffer and wife, Angella, Brandon Schaeffer and wife, Michelle, Jamie McAlpine and husband, Casey, Allison Moad, Douglas Moad, Ian Peck Moad, Taylor Peck Moad, Romil Peck Moad and Arthur Peck Moad; three great-granddaughters, Amellia, Alexandria and Abigail Schaeffer; as well as her grand-dogs, Charlie, Tessa and Rigby.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, 784-4023.
