In my prior public administration career, I was prohibited by my profession’s code of ethics to publicly support anyone running for office (both nationally and internationally). Now that I am retired, I am very pleased to now publicly support Kristen Cloutier’s candidacy as the next state representative in Lewiston’s House District 60.
During Cloutier’s tenure on the Lewiston City Council, I was continually impressed by how she immersed herself into the work. She was tireless, prepared and available to anyone (and there were many).
She understood the importance of a tight budget but also understood how to strike a balance between financial restraint and the need for sustainability and investment.
She is a candidate who comes prepared for the rigors of the State House, and she is what Lewiston needs to keep progressing forward.
I hope the voters of District 60 will vote “yes” for Kristen Cloutier.
