- Students in the Architectural and Civil Engineering (ACE) Independent Project course at Central Maine Community College made their formal presentations at the end of the academic year. The senior-level course emphasizes integrating prior learning with self-directed study. Three student teams presented their work, integrating the following in their presentations: handmade foam core models, computer-aided drafting, PowerPoint, interior finishes sample boards and hand sketching. The project’s focus was on the viability of a flex design to support a campus fitness center.
