Promising newcomers: N/A.
Outlook: Done in by injuries last year, the Greyhounds hope to stay healthy and return to their usual spot among the Campbell Conference elite. Caron and the versatile Harrington went down last year after showing promise and lead a veteran backfield. The interior line, led by Crafts, a four-year starter on defense and three-year starter on offense, also has some notches on its belt. If they can get the players on the perimeter on the same page with the rest of the offense, the Greyhounds could gain big chunks of yardage.
Coach’s comment: “The defense could be a little bit stronger than the offense at the beginning while our tackles and ends get in sync.” — Coach Dick Mynahan
