Carol Norwood, left, of Kennebunkport and Brianna DiDonato of Portland enjoy Saturday’s weather while attending the fourth annual Central Maine Car Show at Pathway Vineyard Church in Lewiston. Norwood and her husband, Bob, own the marina blue 1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle that was one of 70 or so automobiles entered in the show. “The hurricane may have scared a few off,” said Allen Austin, executive pastor at Pathway. Austin said 152 cars attended the show last year. The show is a way for members of the church to meet people in the community, volunteer Kelly Woodcock said. Pathway will hold a free family festival Sept. 17-19 that will include a performance by the Vertical Outlaws, motorcycle stunt riders, a fireworks show and an outdoor worship service.
