LEWISTON —  A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday for Maurice H. Laplante at Holy Cross Church, following prayers at the Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Maurice Morin officiated, assisted by the Rev. Bertrand Poussard. Committal prayers followed at St. Peter’s Cemetery.Pallbearers were Ryan and Kevin Laplante, Zac Charette and Ben Bergeron. Honorary bearer was Lauren Laplante.

Words of remembrance were shared by Rachel Charette, daughter. Military honors were provided by the Maine Funeral Honors Program.  An online guest book may be viewed at www.thefortingroupauburn.com.
