LIVERMORE FALLS – Police arrested a local man Friday night after receiving a report of someone on the roof of the four-story Bank Building on Main Street.

Officer Robert Samson went onto the roof, Lt. Thomas Gould said, and found Jason H. Pierce, 31, of Millett Street in Livermore Falls.

“Evidence at the scene indicated that several dish antennas, as well as the wiring to several apartments, had been damaged or destroyed,” he said.

Pierce was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and criminal trespass, Gould said. He was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn.

He posted $160 cash bail and was released early Saturday, a corrections officer said.

Pierce has a Jan. 13, 2011 arraignment date at an Androscoggin County Superior Court.
