President’s Message
As I sit back and ponder this past year I have to do so with a smile on my face. We truly are blessed. In times where stating “times are tricky at best” we continue to see a community rise above all these challenges and show empathy, generosity and love and that is what really matters in the big scheme of things. Way to go River Valley!
In the spirit of giving I want to ensure that all of you who live, work and play are receiving all that you can from your Chamber. We pride ourselves as “thinking outside the box” in these trying times to work for you. If there is something that you see could benefit you as a business to prosper, allow us to work with you to make this become a reality. Ways to do this are to increase your customer satisfaction, show case your products and services and be the most you can be for your customers through all of our resources available to you as a Chamber Member; web site, print advertising, marketing ideas and personal service with our Chamber Administrator Peter Perry.
One of our ways in giving back to the community is to offer resources that promote productivity, assists in fundraising and getting you in contact with the community. The new Four Season Guide Book that the Chamber puts out yearly is out and every tourist that walks into the Information Center will walk out with one of them. Featured inside the guide book is a wealth of information about our River Valley area; points of interest, a blurb about each of our (10) member towns, events in our area, as well as the Chamber’s membership directory and ads from our Chamber members. Over 10,000 of these are printed yearly and are distributed through-out the (7) State Information Centers, as well as our lodging facilities, in re-location packets that are sent out weekly to interested people who want to either visit or re-locate to our area. What an advertising opportunity for any Chamber member with distribution that far and wide.
