NORWAY — The citizens of the town of Norway are planning to create a better condition of affairs among the young people of the town, and to that end at the annual meeting next Monday the following article will be presented for action:
Proposed Curfew Law.
All minors shall be subject to the curfew law and shall not be on the streets or in public places after eight o’clock P.M., unless accompanied by a parent or guardian, except as herein after provided. Minors having employment keeping them out after the prescribed hour may be granted a permit at the request of parent or guardian, such a request being a part of and embodied in the permit.

The Pinette brothers have become sole owners of Pinette Undertakers Inc., according to an announcement last night by Raoul L. Pinette, president of the firm.
The company president and his brother Raymond O. Pinette have purchased the business interests of Raymond R. Duprez and Thomas J. Croteau.
Napoleon Pinette, father of the two owners, founded the business 49 years ago.

FARMINGTON — Roger Williams of The Luce Studio, Farmington, recently received the Hallmark Award at the 37th annual Maine Professional Photographers Association Convention last week.
The Hallmark award was given to Williams for best color print in the show for his blue ribbon portrait “Wolf Pup.” He also received a second-place red ribbon for his portrait “Vargo Girl,” plus four green ribbons and four corners.
