Jared Bristol: Don’t take away a person’s one shot at existence
Our Legislature is currently moving a bill toward the hearing stage that would make abortion legal through full term, with the approval of a qualified medical professional. It does not have an LD number yet and is still in the revisor’s office. If people are reading this, they were not aborted and got their shot […]

Elizabeth Hamilton: NECEC’s clean energy claims are false

For the conservative it’s being used as a pejorative (bad) label for liberals/progressives. What is America […]

Svetlana Hall: Maine doesn’t need new abortion law
Why do we need a new abortion law? According to the Office of the Maine Attorney General, “Maine law protects your right to an abortion.” It further states, “Maine law allows for abortions up to the point of viability (usually about 24-28 weeks, as determined on a case-by-case basis by your health care provider). Maine […]

Sen. Lisa Keim: We need to take a stand against China
Our greatest foreign adversary controls large technology companies whose devices are used throughout our state government. Maine is already years behind in addressing this reality; now is the time for us to take action.
