Brian Ponce is a staff writer for the Franklin Journal, as well as the Livermore Falls Advertiser and the Sun Journal. Prior to joining the Sun Media team, he worked across many different industries ranging from warehouses to restaurants while pursuing his passion for writing on the side. Brian graduated from California State University in San Bernardino, California, with a B.A. in English with a focus on creative writing. Afterward, he performed freelance work documenting local musicians and their music in the High Desert of San Bernardino County. When he is not searching for a story, Brian can typically be found in his native habitat, a comic book shop, researching taco recipes and meandering.
