Low water levels at upper portion of Lewiston Falls due to vandalism
Rubber bladders designed to alter water levels at the Lewiston Falls dam were vandalized in early October, said dam operator Brookfield White Pine Hydro. A temporary flashboard system has since been installed which will keep levels at about 6 inches lower than normal.
