Jon Bolduc is the new kid on the block, joining the Sun Journal team as the nightside cops reporter in September 2018. Jon is a 2011 graduate of the University King College in Halifax Nova Scotia. He enjoys burgers, farming and tending to his chickens, turkeys, and goats.

Norway Brewing Company launches an inspired, guava infused beer
Charles Magne Melhus, head brewer at Norway Brewing Company, said the brewery’s latest offering is a rose-inspired Weisse beer. The Norway brew house is one of nearly 120 craft breweries now operating in Maine, producing more than 350,000 barrels of beer each year.

Oxford County Commission finds irregularities in resignation of former deputy
Oxford County Human Resources Director Annalee Rosenblatt told commissioners the sheriff’s office mishandled the resignation of former Deputy Chris Davis. As a result, Davis was not paid out for accumulated sick leave. Commissioners have now agreed to pay him $3,701 in owed leave time.
