Gardner, an Edward Little graduate who now lives in Oxford, competed at nationals last month. She’s now preparing for the sledge hockey Women’s World Challenge in August, for which Team USA recently held training camp at Norway Savings Bank Arena.

Katie Lachapelle enjoyed experience, will coach Team USA’s U18 women’s hockey team again in 2023
Lewiston native led the U.S. to a silver medal at the IIHF Under-18 World Championships in Wisconsin earlier this month. She will be the head coach again for the 2023 tournament in January.
