Tony Blasi is a reporter and editor who covers sports and enjoys writing a column and features for the Lewiston Sun Journal, Franklin Journal and Livermore Falls Advertiser. He is a graduate of Northeastern University with a major in journalism and an undeclared minor in history. When he is free, he is a substitute teacher for the Auburn Public School System where he teaches history and literature at Edward Little High School. Besides traveling to historic sites with his son and wife, they are beach bums in the summer and he hibernates in the winter, keeping the home fires burning in his wood stove. He is also an avid gardener, who grows pesticide-free vegetables.
