Art teacher Laura Manchester prepares her new drawing and painting room Monday at Lewiston High School. Manchester's classroom was in the basement of LHS before the new addition opened on Monday. "I think it was an old storage room. I can't be sure," said Manchester.
History teacher Tom LeBlond prepares his new classroom Monday at Lewiston High School. "Having more classroom space is a big plus," said LeBlond, who would rotate between classrooms before the new addition was built. LeBlond has taught at LHS for 30 years.

Nelson's classroom was in a basement storage room before the new addition opened Monday. "The ceeling was getting pretty squeaky," said Nelson. "This will be our first time having windows."

The new two-story wing at Lewiston High School provides space for music and the arts on the first floor and additional classrooms on the second floor.
