Thanks and a tank highlight Memorial Day weekend in Lewiston
A Memorial Day weekend ceremony in Lewiston's Veterans Memorial Park brought many patriots out Saturday to honor the memories of the fallen and of those lost since. The ceremony also served as the dedication of the park's newest addition: a 1960s-era M60A3 tank.

Lewiston man charged with attempted murder in Mechanic Falls
Police from Mechanic Falls, Norway and the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office were called out to the Elm Street area at about 6 p.m. Thursday after it was reported that a man had fired a gun in a heavily populated area.
