The massive paper mill that dominates the landscape along the Androscoggin River in Rumford has changed hands three times in less than five years. Unlike the mills in a number of Maine paper towns, this one remains open and employs 600 people. Still, anxiety about the mill’s future lingers. (Ben McCanna/Portland Press Herald)
