Besides individual requests, Project Opportunity has funded groups of students traveling to foreign countries and attending enrichment programs. They back the Telstar Freshmen Academy trip to Washington, DC and the boys and girls state delegates.

Bethel Early Learning to close Feb. 24

The  Bethel Early Learning Center on Cross Street in the back of the Gem Theatre building, serves 19 families, with children ranging in age from six months to 4. They will close on February 24, confirmed owner, Jefrae Alford.
