Chronic absenteeism has ‘dropped quite a bit’ at Sumner school
Chronic absenteeism at Hartford-Sumner Elementary School “has fallen 6.5% from last year,” and the school’s chronic absenteeism rates are currently at 18.5% of the student population, said Board Director Allison Long.
