Farmington cleans up on Earth Day
About 4,000 pounds of litter were picked up by volunteers Saturday, April 22, during the cleanup, with furniture, mattresses, tires and other things still to be removed from Route 43, also known as Industry Road.

Area artists paint Lewiston fire hydrants Saturday as part of a citywide Earth Day beautification project. The hydrant event was sponsored by Wicked Illustrations, and all artists donated their own time and materials for the project.
