Snowmobilers could lose access to private land if riders go off trail
Private landowners in the region provide most of the access for recreational trails such as for snowmobiles. Some landowners have shut off their properties and others could do so in the future if riders don't stay on marked trails.

Sugarloaf Charity Summit Gala returns
Sugarloaf Charity Summit will be hosting it's gala this Saturday, Jan. 28, for first time in two years due to COVID-19 restrictions. This weekend will see a host of activities from Sugarloaf, such as an ugly sweater party on Friday, Jan. 27, and the charity challenge where the highest fundraiser will receive a host of prizes, all in the name of charity for cancer research and treatment.

After cooler temperatures recently, organizer Deb Roberts has decided to hold the eighth annual Holland Strong Ice Fishing Derby as planned Saturday, Jan. 28, on Wilson Lake in Wilton.
