Mexico voters approve $3.29 million municipal budget for 2021-22 fiscal year
Residents in Mexico approved all articles of the town's $3.29 million budget for the 2021-22 fiscal year on Tuesday. Town Manager Raquel Welch said the budget is down more than $100,000 from last year, though the mill rate should remain the same. As part of the budget package, voters approved the purchase of land for a new public safety building.
