Greaney’s Turkey Farm in Mercer has been busy this Thanksgiving week for its annual slaughter of some 2,000 turkeys raised plus another 1,000 birds slaughtered for backyard farmers this season. Cultures have come together for the annual preparations, as members of the local Amish community have become a steady and reliable work force in the agriculture market there.
