HARRISON — Volunteers will gather for the fourth annual Community Cleanup Day at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Fire Station.
Organizers say there are 94 people signed up, but more are welcome.
According to Emily Baker, who is organizing the event, the effort has been so successful that surrounding towns have reached out to see how they can start programs in their communities.
Last year, according to a written statement from Baker, 84 volunteers cleaned up 1,600 pounds of trash.
Volunteers who sign up ahead of time get a free T-shirt. Lunch will be served by members of the Lions Club. There will be live music during lunch.
