AUBURN — Carmen Dufresne and Michael Dixon of Auburn are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Marie Dufresne-Dixon to Jake Sicotte, son of Kate and Don Sicotte of Lewiston.
Marie is a 2011 graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn. She received her bachelor of science degree from the University of Maine Orono in 2015 and her master of science degree in nursing from the University of Southern Maine in 2018. She is a nurse practitioner specializing in geriatrics in Augusta.
Jake is a 2011 graduate of St. Dominic Academy in Auburn. He received ahis bachelor of science degree from the University of Maine Orono in 2015 and his doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Florida in 2020. He is practicing veterinary medicine in Lewiston.
A wedding is planned for August 2023.
