ANDOVER — The Andover Fireman’s Association will host its annual craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the fire station.

Elaine Morton, who has been involved with the association for 28 years, said 20 crafters have reserved tables.

“We actually sold out the tables by Nov. 1,” she said. “That’s all we can hold in the fire station. We have quite the variety of crafts this year. There’s one guy who does novelty racing souvenirs. We have another lady who does handcrafted jewelry, some who knit and sew their own crafts and some who make their own quilts. We even have some tables offering food items.”

Soup and sandwiches will be on sale starting at noon, and Santa will visit at 2 p.m.

Morton said the number of people attending the craft fair has been steadily increasing in recent years.

“There was a time when the size of the crowd went down, but it’s beginning to build back up,” she said. “More people are moving here, and we have more children who attend to see Santa.”
