Phil Nadeau: Rotundo offers work ethic, collaboration to Senate
I was privileged to know and work with Peggy Rotundo. Peggy is not only one of Lewiston’s most historically important elected officials, but she is also one of the most honest and genuine human beings I know. These qualities enabled her to represent this city in state legislative leadership capacities that rival many in Maine’s […]

Jason Trask: Education, environment, jobs among Sipe’s concerns
Daniel Sipe is running to represent Maine House District 81 (Albany, Greenwood, Norway, Stoneham, Stow, Sweden and Waterford). Paul Pelletier: McLean would be asset as 3-county DA
It is a great honor to write this letter on behalf of my lifelong friend, Neil McLean Jr., in his quest to become the next district attorney for Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties. The property consisted of the farmhouse with acres on one side of North Auburn […]

Klara Tammany: Rep. Cloutier ‘a tireless advocate for Lewiston’
Kristen Cloutier has been a tireless advocate for Lewiston. Her commitment to public service, and the people she represents, has been demonstrated locally as City Council representative (Ward 5), president and mayor, and at the state level as the representative from House District 60 (with redistricting, now 94). In her first term, Kristen sponsored a […]

Cal Thomas: Is Merrick Garland serious?
No foreign power could hope to undermine the pillars of our democracy better than we are doing ourselves. Serious attention to rebuilding these and other institutions, which can lead to restoring confidence in them, is urgently required.
