Cal Thomas: Biden: A liberal wolf in moderate sheep’s clothing
Biden has reverted to an old and meaningless excuse when he says he doesn’t want to “impose” his faith on others. The question then becomes why have a faith at all, if he won’t apply what his church teaches as truth? How is Biden different from a person who is about to witness a murder but doesn’t try to stop it, or call the police, because he doesn’t want to impose his moral views about the value of life on a man about to commit an illegal and immoral act?

Thomas Shields: U.S. will ‘suffer the consequences’ under Biden
President Biden talks one way and does the opposite. His speeches spoke of unity. In his first day in office he immediately canceled 15 executive orders made by President Trump. Did he think of these all by himself? What kind of unity is encouraged by these sledgehammer actions? No discussion on what is good for […]

Rich Lowry: Congress bows to the pen and the phone
President Joe Biden has proved that, if nothing else, he has a pen and a phone. According to The Economist, he signed more executive orders in his first two days than President Donald Trump signed in nearly his first two months. And he was just getting started. Republicans have no standing to complain about Biden’s […]

Pinky Mennealy: Elected officials need to wear masks, too
As a local heath care worker, I can personally attest to the devastating effects the COVID-19 pandemic is having on our society in general, our elderly population, and economy in particular. Health care facilities are struggling to meet basic staffing needs of all shifts, thus I was astounded to read that elected officials in both […]
