DEAR SUN SPOTS: My military veteran (Marines) husband and I were at Harraseeket Lunch in Freeport this past weekend and there was a bit of a line. As we waited, we happily discussed what we were going to order with a young couple who were ahead of us. When it was our turn to order and pay, we were told that our meals were covered in full, including the tip. We couldn’t believe it! We assume this kindness was granted to us by this couple in front of us but when we looked for them, they were gone, either having driven away or gone to their boat. There were a lot of people.

Since we had a free fried seafood lunch, we gave a donation to the Freeport Community Center on our way home. We were both on cloud nine because of the surprise and really enjoyed the warm, fuzzy feeling from the whole experience. — Lydia, no town

ANSWER: It’s so fabulous when a restaurant angel comes into your life. I love knowing that they’re still popping up now and again!
